My project

I started this project in October last year (2010) as the final project on my degree. The project has been underpinned by my love for drawings and the subject I have focused on is allotments. Allotments provide a range of different things to draw from organic forms to strange contraptions and collections that people have gathered and for this reason have ment that I have been able to create a large body of drawings that tell the stories of the differnt places I have visited
I have spent time at a variety of allotments chatting to people, helping with the gardening, working with groups of children and getting to know the different charaters of the plots.
I have worked with a few differnt groups including the St Anns Allotment Association (STAA) and the community orchard on St Anns allotments Hunger Hill.
